Refunds, Cancellations, Chargebacks & Deal Disputes
How GLWS platform fees, underlying deals, payment disputes, and Protected Deals are separated.
Last updated · Version 2026-08-31.2
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. GLWS is a service operated by FinDech UAB.
Four different things are often confused. They are not the same.
1. GLWS platform / service fees
1.1 Seller and Business subscriptions may be purchased through Stripe-hosted Checkout. Platform/enterprise terms are activated by FinDech, not by an automated €199 checkout. Until you complete a real purchase or we activate a written commercial override, there is no paid GLWS subscription to cancel or refund.
1.2 Price, term, and cancellation for self-service plans are shown before you pay. After purchase, invoices and cancellation are managed in the Stripe Customer Portal. Consumer statutory withdrawal and refund rights are preserved where they apply. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
1.3 Mandatory EU/EEA Consumer rights concerning GLWS service fees cannot be waived where they apply.
2. The Buyer/Seller underlying Deal
2.1 Refunds, returns, repairs, and performance of the underlying Deal are obligations between Buyer and Seller, according to their contract and applicable law (including Consumer law that applies to that Deal).
2.2 FinDech / GLWS is not a party to that Deal and does not adjudicate it unless a specific dispute service is expressly offered. No such adjudication service currently exists.
2.3 Changing or cancelling the GLWS record does not by itself change the parties’ legal rights against each other.
3. A third-party payment transaction
3.1 If money moved through a bank, card, EMI, or other institution, that payment is governed by that institution, scheme rules, and law.
3.2 Chargebacks, recalls, and account disputes are decided by those parties, not by a GLWS status label.
3.3 GLWS may supply records and evidence. GLWS does not guarantee the outcome.
4. A partner-provided Protected Deal
4.1 If a connected partner offers protected payment or escrow for a Transaction, that partner’s terms govern release, refund, dispute, and safeguarding.
4.2 GLWS does not hold the funds and does not provide escrow. See the Payment & Financial Partner Terms.
5. Cancelling a GLWS deal
Cancelling, expiring, or closing a GLWS Deal:
- updates the GLWS record;
- may prevent further GLWS-side use of the Offer according to product rules;
- does not automatically cancel, reverse, refund, recall, or charge back a payment that has already been initiated or completed.
6. How to raise a GLWS service complaint
For the GLWS service itself (not the underlying Deal), contact info@glws.com. Legal complaints: legal@findech.com.
Consumer complaint routes are described in the Terms of Service (VVTAT and ECC Lithuania). The EU ODR platform is not used.
