Acceptable Use & Prohibited Transactions

What you may not use GLWS for, and category-specific responsibilities.

Last updated · Version 2026-08-31.2

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. GLWS is a service operated by FinDech UAB.

We may request documentation, delay platform actions, restrict functionality, block a Deal, suspend an account, preserve records, and cooperate with financial partners or authorities where reasonably necessary. We may perform risk, fraud, abuse, sanctions, and compliance-related controls voluntarily or to satisfy partner, contractual, or legal requirements. This policy does not by itself state that FinDech is a licensed AML monitoring institution for GLWS.

1. Prohibited use

You must not use the Service for, or in connection with:

  • illegal goods or services;
  • stolen property;
  • counterfeit goods;
  • fraud or deception;
  • money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or dealing in proceeds of crime;
  • unauthorised financial services;
  • illegal gambling;
  • illegal weapons;
  • controlled substances where unlawful;
  • trafficking or exploitation of persons;
  • malware, ransomware, or harmful code;
  • stolen credentials or unauthorised access tools;
  • unlawful trade in identity documents;
  • unlawful personal-data trafficking;
  • intellectual-property infringement;
  • illegal sexual content or any sexual exploitation;
  • transactions that violate court orders;
  • transactions designed to circumvent payment-provider restrictions;
  • transactions designed to mislead banks or payment providers;
  • other unlawful or prohibited activity.

2. Highly regulated categories

For potentially lawful but highly regulated categories (for example certain financial instruments, dual-use goods, alcohol, age-restricted products, or licensed professional services), we may restrict the category, require enhanced information, or refuse the Deal rather than making an absolute statement in every case.

3. Category-specific responsibility

GLWS currently supports deal types such as vehicles, rentals, tickets, digital goods, online assets, domains, websites, usernames/social accounts, and B2B invoices. The following allocations apply.

Vehicles. GLWS does not perform title, lien, registration, roadworthiness, safety, financing, or stolen-vehicle checks unless a specific labelled feature actually does so. Parties must perform those checks themselves.

Property / rentals. GLWS is not an estate agent, tenancy authority, deposit protection scheme, title registry, or property inspector.

Tickets / bookings. Transfer or resale may be governed by the issuer, venue, carrier, organiser, or applicable law. The Seller must have the right to transfer.

Digital goods / software / content. The Seller must own or hold sufficient IP or licensing rights. GLWS does not licence the underlying work.

Domains, websites, usernames, social accounts, and online assets. The parties are responsible for ensuring the asset is legally and contractually transferable under applicable registry, registrar, platform, marketplace, network, or service-provider rules. GLWS does not warrant that a third-party platform will recognise or permit the transfer.

B2B invoices. GLWS does not verify tax deductibility, accounting treatment, signatory authority, invoice validity, or underlying performance.

Physical goods generally. Users inspect condition and authenticity themselves.

Services. GLWS does not verify professional licences or quality unless specifically stated.

4. Reports

Report illegal content, fraud, IP infringement, or abuse to legal@findech.com with:

  • your contact details;
  • the URL or deal identifier;
  • a description of the alleged illegality or infringement;
  • the reason; and
  • supporting evidence where appropriate.
