Evidence and handover
GLWS can keep photos, identifiers, documents, tracking, buyer acceptance, and a handover code with the deal. That is a shared record, not a GLWS inspection of ownership, authenticity, condition, or legal title.
User-supplied evidence
Sellers and buyers can attach files the workflow asks for: item photos, serial numbers, invoices, delivery tracking, completion evidence, or payment proof for an external payment. Uploading a file does not mean GLWS verified the fact. Treat it as counterparty evidence unless a labelled system check actually tests that fact.
System checks
System checks record only the specific facts they test, such as whether a partner payment reached a paid state. They do not certify the goods, the parties, or funds held by GLWS. File scanning, when available, is a malware and content check of the upload, not proof of ownership.
Handover codes
A handover deal creates a transaction-specific code. When the participating party confirms it, GLWS records that the handover step was completed. The code does not independently prove that an item changed hands, that it matched the listing, or that title passed.
What GLWS does not do
GLWS is not an escrow provider and does not hold, safeguard, or release deal funds. Protected Deal is not available. Reporting a deal to Support does not cancel it or reverse a payment.
