Deal Rules
How GLWS deals operate, including Quick, Evidence, Handover, and Protected modes.
Last updated · Version 2026-08-31.2
These Deal Rules explain how GLWS deal records work. They supplement the Terms of Service. GLWS is a service operated by FinDech UAB.
Choosing a more structured mode does not guarantee that the counterparty will perform.
1. Creating a deal
1.1 The creator is responsible for an accurate title, description, amount, currency, notes, deal type, and selected mode.
1.2 Buyer and Seller identities and authority are the parties’ responsibility. GLWS does not independently verify that a named person has authority to sell, buy, or bind an organisation unless a specific labelled check actually does so.
1.3 Amount and currency in the GLWS record are the figures the creator entered. They are not a valuation opinion.
2. Links, access, use limits, and expiry
2.1 An Offer is a shareable deal link. A Transaction is created when a Buyer starts or claims the Offer.
2.2 Public link access means anyone with the URL may open the public deal view, subject to rate limits. Invited-only access restricts joining according to the configured invitation email or token.
2.3 Use limits (one-time, exact count, or unlimited) limit how many Transactions GLWS will create from that Offer. They do not guarantee that the URL was never copied or that payment cannot occur outside GLWS.
2.4 Expiry blocks new Transactions after the configured time. Existing Transaction records may remain available.
3. Joining a deal
3.1 Starting a Transaction records that a Buyer joined that Offer in GLWS. It is not by itself a completed purchase of the underlying goods or services.
3.2 Unauthenticated Buyers should accept the Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy before creating a Transaction.
4. Status
GLWS statuses are operational records, including for example active, waiting for buyer, payment pending, paid, evidence added, ready for handover, closed, expired, cancelled, and suspicious.
- Paid records a payment status from the configured source. It is not a guarantee of final settlement. See the Payment & Financial Partner Terms.
- Closed means the GLWS close workflow for that mode was completed and a Receipt may be issued.
- Expired means the Offer no longer creates new Transactions, or a Transaction expired according to recorded rules.
- Cancelled means the GLWS record was cancelled. It does not automatically reverse a payment.
- Suspicious means the record has been marked for risk review. It is not a legal finding of guilt.
5. Evidence
5.1 Evidence uploaded by a Buyer or Seller is user-supplied unless GLWS explicitly performs and labels a defined verification.
5.2 Photos, identifiers, documents, tracking numbers, and similar files are stored as submitted. GLWS does not authenticate them as genuine.
5.3 A system check verifies only the fact it tests (for example whether a link still has remaining uses, whether expiry has passed, whether a payment status was recorded, or whether a handover code was confirmed in GLWS).
6. Buyer acceptance
Buyer acceptance is the Buyer’s recorded statement that they accept the item, service, asset, or handover as agreed. It is not an independent GLWS inspection of condition, title, or authenticity.
7. Handover
7.1 On a Handover Deal, GLWS generates a transaction-specific handover code. The code is intended for the participating parties and is not included in public deal responses.
7.2 Completing the handover workflow records that the GLWS handover step was completed according to the recorded event.
7.3 A handover code does not independently prove that an item changed hands in the physical world, that title passed, that the item was authentic, or that the contract was fully performed beyond the confirmation actually given.
8. Closing, receipts, and archiving
8.1 Closing rules depend on mode. Quick Deals do not require extra evidence or handover steps in GLWS. Evidence Deals require the selected evidence or acceptance. Handover Deals also require handover-workflow completion. Protected Deals follow the partner-connected close workflow where available.
8.2 A Receipt is an electronic GLWS transaction record. It is not automatically a tax invoice, bill of sale, title certificate, or escrow certificate. See the Terms of Service.
8.3 Archived Offers are hidden from ordinary seller lists. Archiving is not deletion of legal records.
9. Mode summaries
Quick Deal. Payment context and a Receipt-oriented close. No manual evidence or handover step is required in GLWS. Suitable when parties want a simple record. It does not mean payment was verified by GLWS.
Evidence Deal. Selected seller or buyer evidence, or buyer acceptance, must be recorded before close. Useful when the parties want a shared evidence file. Evidence is still user-supplied.
Handover Deal. Adds a GLWS handover code for pickup, delivery, or transfer. The record shows whether the workflow was completed. It is not a substitute for inspecting the item.
Protected Deal. Requires a verified account and a connected payment provider. Partner-powered protected payment where available. Not GLWS escrow. Not currently available unless a provider is connected.
10. Disputes and suspicious records
GLWS does not adjudicate Buyer/Seller disputes about the underlying Deal. We may restrict a Deal or account, preserve records, and cooperate with partners or authorities where reasonably necessary. See the Refunds, Cancellations, Chargebacks & Deal Disputes Policy.
